Kava’s Proposal #157 is currently in the governance phase and puts the Kava Ignition Program forward to the community for a vote. This proposal aims to enhance the Kava network by inviting and accelerating established and promising protocols to build on Kava.

High-Performance Collaboration
Kava Ignition is designed to bring more protocols onto the Kava ecosystem. The program is expected to increase Kava network adoption and security, expand the ecosystem’s know-how and community, and increase decentralization. The rewards from this program will be granted and distributed in addition to the ongoing Kava Rise Developer and Cosmos USDt rewards programs.
Potential grant recipients in the Kava Ignition program include known and up-and-coming protocols like Kinetix, Hover, Uniswap, Compound, Abracadabra, and others. The community will initiate each Kava Ignition Grantee proposal, outlining the protocol and any grants they may receive.
Your Vote on Proposal #157 Matters
By voting ‘yes’ on Proposal #157, the community agrees to distribute incentives from the community pool to eligible Kava Ignition participants approved in future Ignition proposals. This vote will enable the Kava chain to attract and onboard innovative protocols on behalf of the community to strengthen the Kava network for all stakeholders.
